Run With the Herd Fun Run

Join us on Saturday July 25, 2026 at 8:00 AM at the Slice of Shoreview for the Run With the Herd 1‑Mile Fun Run (or Walk)through Island Lake Park.

This community event is open to all ages and abilities - whether you want to walk, jog, or race.

Highlights:

• Walk, stroll, or run the 1-mile course

• Meet our school mascot along the way for encouragement

• A fun, inclusive event promoting movement and healthy lifestyles

• Stick around for the annual Slice of Shoreview parade after

2026 XC Announcements

Founded in 1959, our mission is to develop best‑in‑class runners and young men of character through purposeful training, a commitment to self‑betterment, and a team culture that pushes and supports every athlete.  Open to boys in grades 7–12 - no cuts, no bench.

Summer Practices (Starting Monday, June 8)

We meet six days per week at various locations, with a rotating Saturday long‑run site. Practices are optional, voluntary, and student‑led. There is no cost to participate in summer running. Coaches provide a training plan for all levels, from beginners to varsity athletes.

Wednesday 8a - Snail Lake Beach (lower lot)

Thursday 8a - Rice Creek (lot off County I, just east of 35W) 

Friday 8a - Long Lake Beach

Saturday 8a - Destination/Bobolink Baseball Fields (North Oaks)
